Monday- jet lag arrive and drive to rotorua pizza dinner at the house evening lantern walk at the redwoods

Tuesday - rained out zip line everything soaking wet! Chill back at the house rained all day. Dinner at house of spice Indian - walk Kuirau park. Cannon croc falls into hot thermal lake Gwen wants to sleep and is grumpy

Wednesday- hobbit on movie set tour. Pond farm and hillside climb. Skyline luge … let’s do it again! Cannon croc kicked off track. Cannon croc falls off while riding down

Thursday- yummy fresh bakery waitomo spellbound glow worm caves private tour- veronica (late and missed her tour) joins us and our tour - feeding eels in the river bush walk picnic rain otorohanga kiwi house hail storm Chinese takeout for dinner 

Friday- 3 hr zip line and okere falls walk (Brielle cannon Gwen Chad horseback riding) souvenir shopping kerosene creek (everything smells like sulfur for days) pizza for dinner 

Xmas eve Saturday redwoods mountain bike trails. Gwen and Isabelle want to quit after 30 minutes. Ben says he will bring them and they Try to get back to the beginning but can’t. After an hour, they Finally make it back to the starting place and me Ben and cannon go for a little ride. Cannon does great! Drove to mount manganui Waterfall hike and swim. Very strong current the boys make it to the rope and climb next to the waterfall. Grocery shopping ($200 for 2 days) beach at sunset Christmas Eve pass the parcel New Zealand  children’s story, whirligig candle and Luke 2

Sunday Christmas morning stockings and yummy coffee cake for breakfast. Eat candy all morning, listen to piano guys on YouTube get ready for church at 12 nobody there.  Talk to elder platt go to the beach. Steak and potatoes dinner hike to the top of mount mainganui. Brielle broke Eva’s sand dollar :(  we thought cannon did it and so we played truth or dare to get him to tell us the truth. Brielle was so scared when she broke the sand dollar she dropped it and ran away. We all had to clean it up. She confessed in the car ride and cried. Across Eva would be so mad- but she wasn’t. 

Monday potatoes steak eggs breakfast clean up house beach parking full so Ben drops us off- Brielle cannon and Connor do trampoline - we rent scooter- play at fun beach ocean for 1 hour pb jelly at the park drive to Auckland for flight to queens town — hustle worried about making the flight.. plenty of rain and wait. Fly all the way to queen town (1.45 hr) and try to land twice. Pilot decides to fly all the way back to Auckland — what a crazy turn for our trip. Stranded and rebooked flight for Wednesday. Late booking for Airbnb take 3 Uber - everyone so hungry we walk to gas station and get donuts, milk and some weird fried meat Pattie’s through a tray box. 

Tuesday Auckland Museum walk downtown arcade games food court at the mall and avatar movie

Wednesday early flight from Auckland to Queenstown jet boat river crazy spin driver “I wanna go home” freaked out when it started. All over “I wanna go again”-cannon

Bungee jump for sam Isabelle Chad picnic at the bay walk downtown swimming and shopping - fish and chips. Walk back to the parked cars. 

Thursday pack up for overnight fjord boat cruise drive 2 hr to ferry.. bus ride 45 minutes then get on overnight boat - weather then Windy and raining seals and waterfalls. Kayak and boat rain and really wet. Dinner is delicious and small portion dessert- lemon sponge cake or chocolate tart- yum 😋 

Friday sunshine in the fjord cruise bus ferry car ride and cannon puke… eat and hang out- turn in rental car too early for flight back to Auckland 

Saturday goodbye Bangerter’s 😢 drove to skeens house and bakery lunch pies chicken kebab and treats strawberries picking visitors center. Melted chocolate and gorge on strawberries. Fish n chips for dinner playing and fun. Kiwi Hotel and watch castaway. Cannon enthralled 

Sunday check out of hotel breakfast and candy chocolate milk from grocery store airport line over an hour- security and airport lounge for food and drinks. 3 hr to Fiji — airport Lounge food and drinks. 7 hours to Honolulu arrive at 3:30 am January 1st - home and in bed at 4. 

Funny kids on New Zealand trip

(We are on a boat)

Isabelle is talking to sister Bangerter about what we are doing from here to the other side of the lake. Isabelle is hurting my feelings because I spelled her name wrong the first time. Brecon is sitting to my left and is playing mine sweeper which was quickly shut down by my father. Brecon and Sam are listening to music. Brecon is grabbing  my thighs and I tried to punch him but his phone got in the way.

The lake is kinda choppy and the driver warned us to sit down because he was accelerating to safety speed. We are getting the safety briefing; DON’T FALL OVER BOARD. HOLD ON TO THE RAILS. KEEP THE FJORDS CLEAN. Brecon and Sam are laying on our table like dead men. My father is keeping the people in our two family’s fed by putting food in front of us. 

He put a fake banana in front of us and sister Bangerter and she scrunched up her face when she sprayed it into her mouth (The fake banana was bought at a candy store when we got off the airplane landing in Queens Town, it sprays into your mouth).  Sister Bangerter also tried the sour foam that we got at the same candy store as the fake banana. Brother Bangerter is eating a real banana and looks like he is enjoying it. 

Isabelle’s Turn

Sister Platt is consuming a full size carrot as is my Dad. The captain is talking about history. My Mom reached over me to grab more snacks. Sam is still laying arms first on the table- never mind he got up- no he’s back down now. Brecon has resorted to laying back against the seat with him arms crossed, which my Dad compares to praying. Sister Platt is still eating that carrot. There are exactly three Old Trappers Sticks left in the package- most of them being eaten by my sister, Gwen. Brielle, Eva, and Gwen all went outside of the ship and I don’t know if they’ll ever return. I think Cannon is gone too. 

According to the captain, you can visit the wildlife sanctuary, you just can’t bring any small predators with you (I guess Cannon wouldn’t be able to visit). Some of our crew who were outside have now returned to the comfortable temperature of the cabin, and report that it’s miserable outside. They had a photo shoot and Connor flexes his pictures in which his hair is very crazy. I’m struggling to figure out how to start a new paragraph on this iPad laptop. 

i think I figured out a way. Eva asked me what I’m doing so I told her that I’m taking notes. I asked Eva if she wants to take notes next and she said yes, so I’m giving it to her now. 

Eva’s Turn 

Currently, Gwen, Brielle, and Cannon are doing a competition as to who can make the best eyeball out of putty. Cannon Finished early, and Gwen and Brielle are very behind with five minutes left on the timer. Outside was very windy and I had an intrusive thought about what would happen if i jumped off. It was hard to speak in the wind.

 

With two minutes on the timer, Gwen is close to finishing, but Brielle is behind. There is a banana on the table. I see someone eating chocolate. There are a lot of old people on this ship. I want a soda. Cannon has decided to remake his eyeball with 30 seconds left on the clock. The competition has ended. Gwen wins. Intrusive Thought Alert(And Connor is looking so cool and hot behind me) 

Back to Connor

The scene on both sides of the boat is beauti-ful, and the weather out side is frightful I ju-ust want you to know let it snow let it snow let it snow. The beginning of this paragraph is special to say the least because I forgot the lyrics of the song.  We are getting of the boat now, I hope I survive this adventure. 

We found our way to the next adventure, The Bus. Our company was able to be first on the bus and probably last to leave because we decided to sit at the back of the bus like the cool kids. I tried saving the back for the bigger kids but the gurls and Cannon got to it first :’( Eva is now sad because we criticized her on her note taking skills so right now I’m going to spice it up. 

Now that it has been properly spiced I will leave it up to you to figure out what I added. The bus driver is funny because he was talking about how he changes his name every time he guides a group and he talks about how the name he has now has worked for him for a while. 

I just got a new phone and I am not able to make it to work so I’m going to get a couple of things from here in the next couple of days 

That sentence was made with the help of Raid Shadow Legions, but it was actually made with the words that pop up at the bottom of the computer.🫠 

The bus ride was long but we are now exiting and getting on a bigger boat then the one we came here on. It looks to be a triple decker boat with something on top and is two school buses long. I’m really excited about riding on this boat with my friends. 

On the big boat they told us to keep our showers to a minimum, close door/open door because the steam from the hot water can activate the smoke alarm. Our family’s are going to stay back when they release everybody because we are special. 

Update: There is a DOWN STAIRS where we will be sleeping it is so exciting. I’m bunking with Sam, Brecon, and Cannon. We were on the hull of the deck and apparently you can go into the captains quarters and talk to Captain Dave. The wind got so gusty up there that when you jumped you could move one foot the way the wind was pushing.on either side of our boat there are cliffs that could be ten times the size of our boat. I’m having so much fun with the Bangerters.

When we were trying to go outside we realized that a woman’s coat zipper was stuck on the door so we helped her out and got her free of the door. 

Right now we are looking at seals. There is quite a few of them. Did you know that seals can slow there heart beat to around 8-10 beats per minute, I just heard the Captain say that over the intercom.

After having a little snack we were able to pick between going to the shore or going kayaking. You know that I chose kayaking AND GOT SOAKED. It was very exciting because it was raining but it didn’t get that cold. Soon we will be able to jump in the water after everybody gets in the boat from kayaking. The Captain canceled the swimming,

 so we can’t go in the water legally ;)

Dinner is now. Dinner was really good, they had a really good gravy meat and a juicy lamb.  Brecon thought the food was ok while snorting sugar. Sam called me a dupid kid who doesn’t know what he is doing. They just brought out the dessert, it was Soooo good, they brought it out to you and it looks like the dessert in those fancy restaurants, meaning it was small little thing on a big plate. But it was so delicious, you got to chose between a lemon sponge cake or a chocolate cake. Eva has walked in and I’m going to interview her about the food. She says, ”The red meat was ok, the lamb was really really good. Dessert was good I really wish they added more of it to the plate”

Eva’s being feisty 

I was just in bathroom, minding my own business, when someone started knocking on the wall, where another bathroom was. Im pretty sure it was Brecon. Connor is currently leg wrestling with Cannon and Gwen, which reminds me of when at Trek Soren and Ash had two minute leg wrestling battle. Good times. turns out Brecon didn’t lose his bracelet that Natalie bought him. Outside the water is generally calm, and the rain is pretty. Brecon just closed the window to the room. Cannon is supposed to stay in the room?? Brielle just walked in and wants a brush. Brecon is still trying to close the window. Connor just snorted sugar packets. Brecon claims to have been molested buy Connor. On the leg. Im bored.

Connor and Eva are taking supplements. Connor is back

I had to censor some things because they just weren’t PG 

Brekie was delicious especially because they made some cinnamon rolls and a tart for us. I also had some yogurt and granola and potato’s. Right now we are heading back to the port where we began. Brielle said, “pretty gud if u ask me”.

Cannon threw up in the car

I feel like throwing up as well
