Ward camp 2026

One of our most fun memories will definitely be of spending a week at our church camp at Bellows. It is such a fun time for the kids to run around. I swear we brought our whole family here, but I only got pictures of Cannon because everyone else was off with their friends or playing  games. Luckily there’s plenty of food and activities to last anll day for  everyone to enjoy. I even got to play some volleyball with some the teenagers from the stake.

Cannon was often climbing up trees, making swings, pushing a trailer around camp and overall having the time of his life

A hike that I really like to do starts over in Bellows and ends over at the Lanikai pillbox and I was worried we were not going to be able to find the time to do this but this is the one thing I wanted to do on my birthday and even though not everyone went it was such a good little trail that I was so happy Connor Ben and my friend Lehua came too!!

that evening was our crab hunt activity, which is always such a big hit. If you have a really good flashlight as you walk along the beach, you can see these crabs scurrying along the shoreline, running into the water or digging holes in the sand we had a competition for the biggest smallest and most interesting. My friend Anna Keola got cupcakes and everyone saying happy birthday to me at the end of the night!

The Saturday crew- sadly a lot of people left camp on Friday so this was the die hard campers! What a fun way to spend one of our last weeks in Hawaii at camp with friends!! 
 

Hike to the bunkers

Another bucket list hike was this awesome mountainsides bunker  just up the road. Luckily Connor “knew” the way and we found it after we backtracked 10 minutes down the trail.

There was definitely some good artwork/graffiti in there… and also some other things that would be not appropriate for most people to view 😂😂.

The funniest thing happened as I was taking a picture of Brecon in front of a picture is mostly the word Wahiawa so I thought it would be really cool but I kept telling  Brecon move over and then I take a picture and then I’d say no move over more cause you’re kind of blocking one of the letters well - layer as we looked closer, we realize there was definitely an inappropriate image right next to Brecon head, and so we all got a big kick that I kept positioning him right next to it!! At East Cannon thought it was super hilarious and kept saying it 

 

Wheeler Middle graduation

The final day of graduation season with  Wheeler Middle School for Brielle. There were announcements and awards, and choir performance and haka by the 8th grade boys— and we were surprised when Brielle was given the valedictorian for her class with four other students as well as being nominated and given the special certificate from her teacher for being the BEST in her class! We were beaming and so proud of her hard work and dedication — and her all around great personality! We are love this girlie!

We are so happy Brecon was able to start and finish high school at Leilehua. He did well and had fun with his friends— and graduation in Hawaii is a BIG deal! 

The energy, support and enthusiasm from friends and families is amazing! The lei giving and sharing is so special to the families and graduates. We didn’t realize how important a big banner is on the football field to find your graduates …  so we did our best with a poster size cardboard duck taped on a pole and SUP paddle
