FHE and Broken Bones

It all started when Ben and I went over to our neighbours house to check on them. Their son had got a broken leg at his last football game, was in the hospital and had surgery, and the whole family was exhausted from the weekend. We spoke to the dad (Who also happens to be the hospital commander and Ben's boss) to see how we could help. Their golden doodle dog was nearby, and needed some attention. He is a large "puppy" and so Ben asked if we could take him out to play and run around. It was getting dark but we wanted to let the boys play around and have fun. I watched Cael chase after Boise, the name of the dog, and then went inside to begin fixing dinner.

After some time Ben and Brecon came inside and Brecon appeared to be hurt. Apparently Brecon had been holding on to Boise's leash and Cael had thrown a ball for the dog to fetch. Brecon was jerked hard and fell to the ground on his shoulder- Ben knew when he saw it that something was going to be hurt or broken- and with a quick trip to the emergency room, the x-ray confirmed his left clavicle was snapped.
His left arm (The same one he broke last year and had surgery on) is now in a sling to immobilise the bone so that it may heal. That kid just can't catch a break-- or he is catching too many! That makes six broken bones in 2 1/2 years at West Point!
