We noticed everyone was taking pictures inside this amazing hall with the murals, so Ben started shooting away. Seconds later, a guide rushed over to tell us "no flash" photos inside... OOPS!
Inside the "hunting house"
Brecon thought it was awesome :)
After our extensive 'stroll' through the palace, gardens, bath house, hunting house, and carriage museum, we took a refreshing nap in the van. Then we went back near the palace grounds to a very large and incredible museum. I believe it was a Man & Nature museum. Very interesting exhibits on rocks, dinosaurs, fossils, animals, heat sensors, five senses, etc.
We found the car and a little local spot to grab some dinner. They weren't actually OPEN because the waitress and cook weren't there yet, but the owner said that he would make us something to eat. The sandwiches were delicious, and Ben ordered the spicy one, which was really spicy-hot and you very rarely get refills on your drinks. You can imagine how thirsty Ben was after that one. He has decided that he will always pack his own water from now on.

From here we drove right into downtown Munich to watch and listen to the big clocktower. There was quite a crowd gathered around and we were glad that were able to see this amazing sight.

Becky Sue, I am just now catching up on your updates for the past several weeks and all I can say is ... WOW! What a cool adventure for you guys! I have been to Nuremburg--I loved it there! I love all your pictures and descriptions! I hope you are having a blast. On a random note, Kadri started preschool the other day and came home to tell me about her little friends. It made me remember meeting you the first day of preschool! For some reason I have a very vivid memory of meeting you for the first time (I don't remember anyone else) and how we became buds! :)
Awesome pictures!
Good thing we trained him for 3 years on how to eat spicy food. What would he have done without us?
Ha, ha.
The pictures are stunning.
