Happy Father's Day

Before you read, I have to explain this picture. Obviously, Ben has been working all day and just got home. Both of the boys LOVE when daddy comes home and there is always a bit of commotion with cheers and shouts and "hip hip hoorays". SO i whip out the camera (Cael has started pulling these faces whenever the camera is in front of him. I don't understand the eyes closed and mouth wide open? oh well) I love when Ben has both of the boys in his arms, he holds them in a "manly" way, but I still think it is precious. Seriously... Ben looks tired, he is tired.. so I wrote this little poem for my man!

It's the end of the day, but I might as well say....
Let's give a shout for the Men we care about!
You work so hard all the day long,
but we know you are home when you sing that little song:
"I'm Home! I'm Home! The work day is done,
Now I can relax with my boys and my 'hon'!"
I know you are tired- it shows in your face,
but Baby- get moving or you'll come in last place,
The dishes are dirty, the children need to be fed,
give them a bath, a story, and put them to bed...
This all needs to happen or there will be a mess,
but TODAY is a different one: no more and no less!
It's your special day... we can take a break or two
You know it BENJAMIN, we really love you!
*i guess this is over, it's finished, it's through. We are very blessed to have someone like you!
So here's to the DADS whom we love and adore... we hope this post wasn't too much of a bore!
Now THAT was full of cheese, but oh well!
HAPPY FATHERS DAY

How funny! I just wrote a silly poem for Marcus on my blog and then tripped over to yours and saw that you did the same thing. I promise I wasn't copying your idea! Too funny. Anyway, aren't our men great? I swear, I don't know how I got so lucky. I see some of my friends in tragic situations and they tell me these sad stories, and I just look at my hubbo and thank him for being who he is. Men are easy to come by. Great men are few and far between. Hope your Father's Day was awesome Ben! And you too Becky. Love the hair. :)
