Camping Weekend

The Folau's called Friday morning and mentioned that they would like to go camping that night. The kids didn't have school that day and so it was a perfect time to gather all the gear, throw it into the truck, and have an adventure. The campsite is only 10 minutes away, but it was a perfect night for the kids to run around, light sticks on fire, and eat plenty of delicious camp food.

In setting up our tents and beds for the night, we pumped up the air mattress for the adults and the kids. By morning we were all just sleeping on the ground. One of these days we have got to find the leak in that essential piece of our camping gear!

It really was perfect weather, slightly chilly at night so the fire felt lovely- bright, warm sunshine in the morning that was just right for a hike through the forest. We did find ticks on Brielle's arm and my belly on Sunday. They are so tiny it was hard to see them!
