WE DID IT! After YEARS of hard work, study, late nights/no sleep, on-call/post-call, clinic, etc, etc... Ben has graduated from the SAUSHEC Residency program in Internal Medicine. The speeches were short and sweet but because there were so many residents graduating... it was painfully LONG! The little boys had pretty much had it by the end (I noticed some friends were much smarter and left some of their kiddos with sitters... I will remember that... umm... next time :) Ben's dad and sister were able to make it for the "celebration" which I still feel bad that they had to suffer through the 3 hour presentation, but they were good sports about it :) We made up for it with a fun trip to Sea World, the Alamo, Missions baseball game, a temple session, and good ol' Smokey Moe's TEXAS bar-b-q :)
*Just to note that this is the 3rd graduation Ben has had since we have been married. I know some wives have probably had 4 or maybe 5.... but I think 3 is quite a lot!

wow that is awesome. I was thinking about you guys today and miss you guys so much. Becky you are such a great friend and Ben you are a special man. Two more perfect people on this earth. Good luck to you guys in faraway land.
