Our first day in Pennsylvania was a busy one. In our tourist booklet from our hotel, I saw there were a few working farms that we could visit. This one, Perry Dale farms was on our way and we got there just in time to see them feed the baby calves. They felt so soft and each of the kids liked petting them.
We got some delicious ice cream from the gift shop and enjoyed it ride on the grass next to some farm equipment.
We went to go eat lunch and saw signs for Indian echo caverns nearby. We had time so have an adventure and so we stopped by.
It is always incredible to see the rocks and formations inside of the caves we have visited. Different stories and discoveries that are made over time are so interesting to me, and maybe a little bit for the kids. Our tour guide was a pretty goofy fellow and seem to be cracking quite a few jokes along the way.
A nice lady offered to take our picture as a family. We are sure a good-looking group!
From here we went to the Hershey factory (hmmmmm chocolate) and then we would be going to the circus later that night... What a busy day!
