Philadelphia trip

Brandon and Mandy were in town the middle of June so a trip down to Washington DC became part of the tour of the East Coast. A stop in Philadelphia for a Philly steak and cheese, Liberty Bell, and Independence Hall were included on the trip down for the group.

Cael learned many important facts about the Constitution and the founding fathers who wrote the Bill of Rights this year in school, so he really liked it. While taking the tour, he had questions to answer and specific things to look for in a notebook. After he had completed he became a junior park ranger and took the oath of office.

It was a good time in Philadelphia, now on to Washington DC.
Kill was a good sport about going on this trip, while I stayed home and watch the kids and continue to grow a baby. I was not feeling very comfortable and walking was difficult to do. I knew if I went I would slow down the group and make the experience harder to see everything.
